hi everyone, I need to create a webrowser, but give me an error:
instance the name space...
xmlns:zzz ="using:WinRTXamlToolkit.Controls"

<Grid Grid.Row="1" Margin="10">
     <zzz:WebBrowser />

and returns me an error:
Error 1 Cannot find a Resource with the Name/Key GridSplitterBackgroundThemeBrush [Line: 18 Position: 20]

I have a code example from an older version of XAMLToolkit that does not exhibit the problem.
But, my code with the latest toolkit give this error. Same as you.

Hope someone can fix or resolve. It is really putting a crimp into my Windows RT/8 application deployment. LOL

Yes, sorry, I'll have a fix for that soon. The problem hopefully only shows up in the designer tool. You can try removing the control from XAML, then switching the design view theme in the device tab to Dark or Light, then add the control back. I mistakenly thought defining Dark and Light theme resources should be enough but in fact I should have defined Default and Light and Dark would fall back to Default. I don't have Default theme resources defined, and the designer tool isn't smart enough to try the Dark theme.
